Every watch collection should include something fun and colorful for kicking it on the weekend. Swapping out your weekday watch with a playful piece is a totem that signifies “it’s time to unwind.” Enter Bulova’s new Snorkel collection. Four new highly chromatic dive watches inspired by the ocean and marine life.
The collection celebrates four sea-faring animals. The Blue Tang Snorkel honors the Caribbean’s Blue Tang fish with royal blue dial and straps with a yellow case accent. The Sea Turtle Snorkel symbolizes the reptiles’ ocean habitat with a brown dial and green strap and case. The Clownfish Snorkel design utilizes a bright orange strap and white dial to symbolize the iconic reef dweller. The Great White Shark Snorkel watch represents the infamous apex predator with a white dial, gray case, and blue accented bezel.

According to Jeffrey Cohen, CEO of Citizen Watch America, Bulova’s parent company, the Snorkel collection was created with multiple purposes in mind. “It is meant to create an extremely price competitive sport watch, utilizing innovative materials while also celebrating what makes us passionate about the oceans, the seas and marine life, a universe which is mysterious, vibrant, exciting and inspiring—all values we seek to embody in Bulova.”

To that end, the watches’ designs lean heavily on Bulova’s Oceanographer line, including the incredibly popular Devil Diver. All four feature a 41mm hybrid ceramic case that is both scratch-resistant and adapts to body temperature for comfort. Each timepiece deploys luminescent hands and markers for low-light readability, a date window at 3 o’clock and unidirectional timing bezel. The watches are all water-resistant to 100 meters, plenty for say…snorkeling, and utilize a Miyota 2115 quartz movement that is accurate to 15 seconds a month.
The Snorkel quartet is now available at select retailers and at bulova.com for $350 each.
