Marcus Jordan, the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan and onetime fixture on The Real Housewives of Miami, is speaking out following his DUI arrest earlier this week.
Jordan took to his Instagram Stories on Feb. 6 to address the elephant in the room—or rather, acknowledge it and ignore it, as he insisted he’s busy with his Trophy Room retail store in Orlando.
“I appreciate everyone reaching out. I’m focusing on [the] Trophy Room store right now and won’t be making any comments on recent media stories and my personal life,” he wrote, per TMZ. “I sincerely appreciate your concerns and thank you for your kind understanding.”

The 34-year-old was arrested on Feb. 4 on charges of driving under the influence, drug possession, and resisting arrest. According to NBC News, officers in Maitland, Florida found Jordan’s blue Lamborghini stuck in railroad tracks after 1 a.m. local time; a police report said that the car had sped away from an attempted traffic stop by Seminole County police just a few minutes earlier. They then found a bag of white powder on his person that was proven to be cocaine.
“I stood at the window and immediately detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle,” an officer wrote in the affidavit supporting Jordan’s arrest. “The defendant kept saying he made a wrong turn and needed assistance getting his vehicle off the railroad tracks. I noticed the driver had slurred speech and he was confused where he was located. I noticed the driver had red bloodshot and glassy eyes.”
Jordan was released from jail shortly after his arrest.
