The Philadelphia Eagles emerged victorious in Super Bowl LIX over the weekend, denying the Kansas City Chiefs a historic three-peat and making up for their Super Bowl loss against the team just two years ago. Naturally, the streets of Philadelphia were filled with revelers following the game, and later this week, they’ll be full once again with fans celebrating the win at the team’s Super Bowl victory parade.
Details around the parade have been emerging throughout the day, and more information is expected to be revealed in the lead-up to the big event.
How many Super Bowls have the Philadelphia Eagles won?
The Eagles now have two Super Bowl titles under their belt. Their first was in 2018 when the Birds came out on top over the New England Patriots led by Tom Brady.
When is the Eagles’ victory parade?
The parade will take place this Friday, Feb 14 kicking off at a to-be-announced time. The decision was made to wait a few days as Philadelphia is expected to weather a snowstorm overnight and into Wednesday of this week.
“Just watching the weather and we’ve got some snow coming this week, so we want to be respectful for the city to do what they need to do,” Eagles President Don Smolenski said on 94WIP sports radio. “And one extra day of planning doesn’t hurt. You know what, it’s a nice way to kick off the weekend.”

Where is the Eagles’ victory parade happening?
The celebration will take over Philadelphia‘s famous Broad Street and Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The 2018 parade began at the Eagles’ home of Lincoln Financial Field in south Philly and made its way up Broad Street before ending at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Who will be speaking at the parade?
Details surrounding the proceedings once the parade arrives at its destination remain unclear, though the city of Philadelphia promised on social media that more information on the festivities was forthcoming. In the past, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and star tight end Travis Kelce have spoken at victory celebrations.
The City can confirm the Eagles celebration will be on Friday, February 14.
Together, with the @Eagles, we will reveal more details soon.
