Crossover SUVs have become all the rage in recent years, and Volvo’s jumping on board with the trend. Gearing up for the Detroit Auto Show, the Swedish brand has rolled out their fully capable Volvo S60 Cross-Country Sedan.
That’s right, the S60 has received the cross country treatment. The sedan is now a 5-door, with an increased right height and all-wheel drive to grab the great outdoors by the horns. Of course high profile tires were also a must, which is why Volvo outfitted the crossover with a set of either 18 or 19-inch options, both of which give the car a more aggressive look. The vehicle is equipped with the company’s T5 gas engine, with options ranging all the way up to a 250 horsepower engine. There’s also a 190 horsepower five-cylinder D4 diesel engine option available. Expect more details and price point as the Detroit Auto Show creeps closer.
